As RTO consultants, we often provide advice about specific issues you’re facing. We’ve been living and breathing RTO consulting services for over 23 years, and have seen and solved the challenges that RTOs run into. The important thing to know is that we will always tell you the why and how of our advice. We do this because RTO consultant dependency is what we want to avoid. We want you to know how to take care of your own RTO, and ultimately we want to become redundant to you (until you invite us back for your end-of-year Christmas party!)
While we place great stock on coaching and mentoring you through any issue in your RTO, it’s sometimes far more efficient and streamlined to give you the answer straight away. For example, we might provide you with a pre-written policy/procedure or template. Or maybe we’ll give you timely advice regarding ASQA and audits.

We frequently see RTOs become dependent on their consultants. It often doesn’t seem like a real issue until the consultant quits, or an RTO needs to update something in their system and realises they have no idea how to accomplish it. Part of our consulting is also educating to ensure that you don’t end up with the ‘deer in the headlights’ look.
RTO consultant when you need it, where you need it
As the Coaching, Mentoring and Consultancy sessions are held across Zoom and recorded, you will always have access to anything we’ve shared with you. For ad hoc processes or general training that can be shared at any time, we use the computer recording software Loom to show you exactly how we have achieved any process. An example of this might be setting up quizzes in your Learning Management System (LMS). We will likely do the first one for you and record how it was done. You can then refer to that video as required for future work. You can also use that video as part of your onboarding and training for new staff who need to complete that process.
